STAFF LOCKERS
LockTec has recently installed a large quantity of multi-opening staff lockers in the 5-storey offices of a Scottish local council. These are 'virtual' lockers: due to the varying numbers of staff in the building each day: staff do not have their own locker, but are assigned a new one each day as required. They access the building area using their staff mifare card, and use the same card to access a locker. Once assigned, the locker can be opened and closed any number of times during that day, but must be cleared at the end of the day. This gives the Operator complete control and a very flexible locker system.
STUDENT LOCKERS
LockTec has supplied and installed multi-opening electronic student lockers at a prestigious College in London, GB. With students having so much to carry around, small, multi-opening lockers were the ideal solution: the students have a safe storage place for their personal items, and the college has a steady income. The lockers are also networked to a back-office PC for monitoring and control purposes.
